| I've witnessed this twice now in two different venues, one in Cornwall and one in wiltshire, Crows catching fish!! Again yesterday i watched a couple of crows sitting on low branches looking at the water, then fly down and grab a small fish with there claws, is this normal?, i've never seen it happen before, has anybody else seen this happen? Maybe food is getting scarce and they're picking up on other birds practices that normally prey on fish, weird!! | |

| I was going to let DS mention this one, but he's at mansells for the weekend, he saw on the news a heron pinching slices of bread from a campsite, taking it to the camp pond, breaking of bits, dropping it in the water and using it to attract the fish, in other words bait, whats happening?? are we about to see a real life "The Birds" like Hitchcocks film. | |

| Ermmm!!, yep all the time no i didn't see it TR. I know this sounds a bit far fetched, but we had a bird over the lake that sounded like a bite alarm, haven't heard it recently but with the amount of anglers alarms over there we might here it again. | |
