More than a tonne of fish is to be removed from a section of the Kennet and Avon Canal to help improve conditions for aquatic wildlife.

I saw that earlier. It is mainly from the side pools on the lock flights, which I do not think is a bad thing as it is small pond type environment. Good news is some of the fish will make their way into the lower section below the locks.

I have always found the Kennet and Avon above the locks very productive.
