light/s or not?

everyone has their preferrence as to what light/s they take fishing, whether it be a small head lamp or a dirty great big spot...
which do you take fishing? and why?? and your views on how it affects fishing?

I don't use anything other than a head torch these days, sometimes a little wind up lamp for cooking, but the use of big lamps i don't like, very annoying at times especially if they're on continuous, Little hurricane lamps are ok as the light is very dim but do give off a good radiance for seeing.
