Hello From Admin

I would just like to Say Hi, I am the forum Admin, I set this little place up as a haven for all of you who are fed up with the politics on some other forums.

I hope that we can have a friendly space here to chat about life in general, moan about the lack of fishing we all do, share a few laughs ( try and keep them clean please) but generally have some fun with the excuse we are all interested in fishing of some kind.

I have been fishing since 2006 when I was 45, took it up as a way of stress relieving and have become totally hooked(pun intended).

I do a small amount of sea fishing, but much prefer coarse fishing, both lakes and rivers, I am not into fly fishing as I prefer to sit on the bank and watch the world go by, and hopefully put a few more fish into my photograph collection.

I practice catch and release for all types of fishing except boat fishing at sea, and then I only keep the ones that would not survive the returning process.

I also have never set a forum up before so if you have any suggestions to make this a better place please do not be afraid to let me know.

I also would like to introduce myself, I'm Claudia, born and raised in Germany and now the better half of Mike the Admin.
We took up fishing together 2 years ago and we are totally addicted to it.
Like Mike, I mainly do coarse fishing and I try myself on all types of fishing, whether it is fly fishing, carp fishing, lure fishing, predator fishing or pole fishing for the silver.
I also try myself on shore/boat fishing with little success though.(there is hope yet)

I also practice catch and release for all types of fishing, the only fish kept are the one who wouldn't survive the return in to the sea.

I hope we can make and keep this forum clean and friendly for like minded people, so don't be shy, come in and enjoy the banter

Hi all, i'm pondlife, pl for short aka Jim, love my carp fishing with pike a close second, been fishing since i was 4 years old, pike fishing since i turned 8 and carp fishing started at 14, that was a long long time ago. done my share of river fishing, fly fishing, shore fishing and caught a fair few fish of different varieties along the way, these days i like to spend lazy days and nights carp fishing in the summer and shivvering cold sessions pike fishing in the winter.

Hi My Name is Steve, and i to know Mike,Claudia and Paul. I am from Warminster and i have been fishing since i was 20, I used to be an all and out match angler, but since hurting my back in 2000, i have gone more to pleasurer fishing, I now do carp fishing, sea fishing, general coarse fishing and i am awaiting to be taught how to fly fish with out trying take my own eye out.
