I'll kick off with Barm Brack a simple cake

Soak 9oz of any mixed fruit you like in 9fl oz of cold tea over night with 6oz of brown sugar

Next day add 7oz of SR flour and 1 egg beaten

Mix and pour into a greased loaf tin cook on gas mark 4 180 C for approx 50 mins

Enjoy

A great carrot Salad

Grate two carrots add two cloves of crushed garlic

Mix together with two tablespoons of Mayo

Enjoy

You can add, coconut or sesame seeds or sultanas or even do it with beetroot
